Honor Flight Chicago

Honor Flight Chicago recognizes the bravery, determination, and patriotism of our nation’s senior war veterans with a one-of-a-kind journey to Washington, D.C. The trip is only one day, but the experience is life changing. Many experience the Welcome Home that they didn’t receive but yet so deserved.

Even years after their trip, veterans say their honor flight not only bolstered their self-esteem and pride in their service, but it was truly one of the most memorable days of their lives. They visit the memorials for veterans from WWII, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.

Some have the opportunity to re-connect with cherished friends, others have a chance to share the experience with a loved one as their guardian, but all have the opportunity to enjoy a unique day dedicated to them. Click here to see Honor Flight Chicago in Action.

“This is an unbelievable experience that all veterans should do. You deserve this. It is something that you will never forget. This is our homecoming,” says Ray Eich, NuMark Credit Union board member.
