Showing Young Students How to Make Choices with their Money
Moonjars offer a visual, tactile beginning for children to understand how to use money. Students listen to a story about two children making choices about spending their money. Then the children construct their own Moonjar moneyboxes which include one for saving, one for spending and one for sharing. In the process the students talk about the concepts of what are wishes and hopes while learning about making good financial choices. The Moonjar Program is prefect for students Kindergarten through 5th grade.
