NuMark Credit
Union

In 1942, the union employees of Electro-Motive Division of General Motors Corporation (EMD) in Countryside organized to form Diesel Credit Union. They changed their name to Dynamic Credit Union in 1987.

In 1954, Earthmovers Credit Union opened in Joliet and was the official credit union of the Caterpillar Tractor Company (CAT). The name was changed to Members Equity Credit Union in 1983.

In 1996, Dynamic Credit Union in Countryside and Members Equity Credit Union in Joliet partnered together to form NuMark Credit Union and serve their members as one credit union.

As membership grew, NuMark Credit Union opened additional branches in Crest Hill in 2006, Tinley Park in 2011, and New Lenox in 2016 to serve their members and the surrounding communities.

In 2021, NorthStar Credit Union merged with NuMark Credit Union bringing the four NorthStar branches, Aurora, Bridgeport, Plainfield and Warrenville to the NuMark Family. We stand ready to provide exceptional service to our members.

In 2023, Pioneer State Bank merged with NuMark Credit Union bringing their customers from Earlville, Paw Paw, Sublette, and Woodhaven locations into the NuMark Credit Union Family.

Today NuMark Credit Union continues to follow the “people helping people” philosophy. They follow their mission of helping members to enrich their financial lives.
