It’s finally June, which means that Pride Month has officially begun!
As an organization that puts a lot of effort into supporting our surrounding communities and making sure everyone feels welcome, we’re excited that once again we will be walking in the Aurora Pride Parade. The parade will kick off at around 12pm on June 9th. The event is family friendly, and anyone who is interested is encouraged to stop by for the celebration.
The Aurora Pride Parade was first created in 2018, and we’ve been a proud supporter of it since the very beginning. We believe that everyone deserves to feel welcomed, accepted, and respected at our credit union. Which is why we try to have as many of our employees as possible walk in the parade and hand out fun pride-themed giveaways to the crowd each year.
It’s an incredible privilege for us to be able to sponsor this amazing event for the seventh year in a row. We highly recommend that if you’re in town on June 9th, to stop by the parade and celebrate with us and the rest of the community.
