On Sunday, June 8th, staff from NuMark Credit Union gathered together and walked in the Aurora Pride Parade, an annual event that started in 2018.
As a credit union, NuMark puts emphasis on showing support and uplifting members of its surrounding communities. That’s why they’ve been proud to take part in the yearly Pride Parade, having done so as NuMark since 2021, following the merger with NorthStar Credit Union. Prior to the merger, NorthStar had been a sponsor since 2019. This year was extra special for us, as we were able to have a decorated parade float, and some extra special giveaway items that we never had before, including a special edition NuMark rainbow tote bag, sunglasses, and body paint!
NuMark wants everyone who comes into our lobbies to feel welcome regardless of race, sexuality, or gender. That’s why taking part in events like the Aurora Pride Parade is important to our organization, the members we serve, and the people living in our communities. We look forward to walking in more parades and participating in more community events in the coming months!
