NuMark branches will be CLOSED on Monday, October 14th in observance of the Federal Holiday. We will reopen for normal business hours on Tuesday, October 15th.
At NuMark, community means everything to us. That’s why we love to participate in local festivals, community outreach, and even walk in parades like the yearly Aurora Pride Parade, Paw Paw Labor Day Parade, Joliet Mexican Independence Day Parade and many more! We’re excited to announce that for the first time this year we’ll be walking in the Earlville Lions Club Lions Fest Parade!
The Lions Fest Parade will take place on Sunday, June 9th and kicks off at 12pm. The festival is a community-sponsored event intended to bring the entire community together and help raise money for various causes. There will be food booths from local businesses, private vendors, school fundraisers and a wide variety of family friendly activities going on all weekend to celebrate the community of Earlville.
Lions Clubs International was founded in 1917 (called the Association of Lions Clubs at the time) by Chicago businessman, Melvin Jones, along with several other business clubs from various U.S. cities that were interested in networking and service to others. Three years later in 1920, the Border Cities Lions Club in Windsor, Canada was created, officially making the association international.
Similar to our beliefs as a credit union, Lions Clubs are dedicated to serving communities. In fact, in the century since its creation, Lions Clubs International has grown to 49,000 clubs and 1.4 million members across the globe – making it the largest service club organization in the world.
NuMark is proud to walk in the Lions Fest Parade alongside other community members and local Earlville businesses, and we’re eager to make more connections in the Earlville community.
