President’s Report
It is remarkable what a team of dedicated individuals can accomplish. Working together, our NuMark Team succeeded in growing our credit union family while enhancing member service. I am proud to report that we are very well positioned to meet the financial needs of our members today and well into the future.
Over the course of 2022, NuMark Credit Union experienced record loan growth of 26%. We matched our peers with deposit growth of 3.37% and asset growth of 4.7%. Our strong Return on Assets of 0.95% demonstrated our commitment to creating member value.
Recently, the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) awarded NuMark with a Certificate of Excellence for providing $7,225,434 in direct financial benefits to our 56,334 members during the twelve months ending in September 2022. These benefits are equivalent to approximately $269 per member household.
Knowing that our people are our greatest asset in delivering superior member service, career development and employee satisfaction is a key leadership focus. The sky is the limit for anyone who wants to grow a career at NuMark. We have welcomed many new faces to our NuMark Team. Our Employee Resource Groups allow team members to get involved in areas of interest. These voluntary groups are employee-led and are intended to help foster diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Our talented teams have created more operational efficiencies, improved staff communications, enhanced
technologies, refreshed our debit card purchase rewards program, provided additional loan payment options, reduced auto loan decisioning times, launched our NuSaver Force savings program, and introduced instant issue debit cards. Looking towards the future, our teams are building programs
to help us better serve new and emerging markets.
We look forward to welcoming our newest members from Pioneer State Bank and helping them do more with their money. We have something for everyone from affordable mortgages, auto, personal and business loans, to free checking accounts, competitive-rate CDs, and business services.

Chairman’s Report
It is an exciting time at NuMark Credit Union. With another outstanding year in 2022, the board of directors was able to authorize a $1,000,000 giveback to our members for the second consecutive year, bringing our total giveback in recent years to $3.5 Million.
Thank you for choosing NuMark for your financial services. Please continue to tell your friends and family about us. We want to be able to continue to give back to our members.
NuMark is also giving back to our communities. In 2022, NuMark staff donated 377 community service hours and NuMark donated $18,000 to local charities. To date, NuMark has donated $43,875 to Northern Illinois Food Bank providing over $350,000 worth of groceries to our neighbors in need. We also sponsored two mobile food truck events at Hope Manor VA which helped 780 people and their families.
Thanks to the generosity of our members and staff, we donated $6,780 to Wreaths Across America and sponsored 678 wreaths that were placed at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery bringing our thirteen-year total to $38,614 and 3,951 wreaths donated.
Joining seventy-eight other credit unions participating the Illinois Credit Union League’s CU Kind Day, NuMark donated and packed 100 Backpacks for Ukrainian refugee children arriving to the Chicagoland area.
Supporting financial literacy, we provided in-person Mad City Money programs for students in the APS Training Institute and Creo DuPage. Our First Time Home Buyer Programs included a panel of local professionals who shared valuable insights about inspecting, purchasing, and closing on your first home.
We also held our Grand Opening event in Aurora, participated in a variety of community events and parades as well as provided several Shred Day events at our branches.
