Our NuMark branches will be CLOSED on Thursday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth. We will reopen for normal business hours on Friday, June 20th.

Shared Branching

Personalized service is a major benefit of banking at NuMark Credit Union, and you don’t have to sacrifice convenience to get it. Take advantage of NuMark’s shared branching services through the CO-OP Shared Branching network, and you can access your account at any of 5,000+ credit union branches nationwide.

Shared Branching is another benefit of credit union membership offering you the best of both worlds– personalized attention and nationwide availability. Look for the CO-OP Logo at participating credit unions.

NuMark Credit union members can perform the following transactions at a shared branch location:

  • Deposits and withdrawals
  • Transfers
  • Account Inquiries
  • Loan payments
  • Loan Advances
  • Statement Prints

Select shared branches also offer money order’s, traveler’s checks and notary services. Since services vary from one location to another, check with the individual branches before your visit for a complete menu of available services.

You will need:

  • Your credit union name: NuMark Credit Union
  • Your NuMark Credit Union account number
  • A Valid Driver’s License
  • The last four digits of your Social Security Number

As of May 1, 2025, when you travel outside of Illinois and utilize our CO-OP Shared branching network, you will now be asked to verify your identity using IDCheck.

IDCheck verifies your identity in just a few simple steps to better protect you from identity theft, fraud and financial loss.

It allows a teller to identify and authenticate any members with out-of-state IDs in the branch through a QR code and one-time passcode multifactor authentication verification.

Upon arrival to the out-of-state Shared Branch credit union location, you will be asked to do the following:

Step 1: Scan the QR code located in the branch or visit verify.coop.org.

Step 2: Select “NuMark Credit Union” from the drop-down list.

Step 3: Enter your member number and the last 4 digits of your social security number.

Step 4: Upload a photo of your ID and take a selfie. Tip: Save your validation for an even quicker experience next time!

Step 5: Show your one-time passcode to the teller at the Shared Branch location. Passcode will be valid for 20 minutes.

IDCheck will be used for loan payments, cashier’s checks, deposits, withdrawals, transfers and account inquiries.

There are some Illinois credit unions that are starting to implement IDCheck for ALL of their Shared Branching users. You could be asked to do this the next time you visit an in-state location as well.

Visit verify.coop.org next time you’re in a Shared Branch to get started.
