November is just about over, with December right around the corner. That means before we know it, National Wreaths Across America (NWAA) Day will finally be here. We would like to give a HUGE thank you to every NuMark staff, member, and non-member who were able to donate this month to help sponsor wreaths that will be laid at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL on Saturday, December 13th.
Wreaths Across America (WAA) is an organization that NuMark is proud to support, which is why we have our annual donation collection each November to sponsor wreaths. We believe that every veteran deserves to be honored for their service in our armed forces, and we are proud to announce that thanks to the help of you all, this year we raised $15,878, sponsoring a total of 934 wreaths to be placed at the cemetery. This is the largest yearly contribution we have ever had and we surpassed our yearly goal by 133.6%!
NuMark has proudly been supporting WAA for over 15 years. In that time, thanks to the generosity of our staff and communities, we have raised a total of $60,973 equating to a total of 5,592 wreaths sponsored that are laid at gravesites each December.
