The U.S. Mint recently announced they will no longer be producing pennies for distribution starting Monday, November 17th, 2025. The penny remains a legal tender and will continue to be in circulation for some time.
We want to assure you that at this time, your ability to deposit pennies remains unchanged.
Our staff will continue to monitor updates from our providers, which in time could be impacted by penny shortages, and we will be sure to keep you updated.
