On January 24th, NuMark volunteers braved the cold weather to support CityPoint Community Church (CPCC) in Chicago’s Bronzeville neighborhood to help host their 2nd Annual Money Summit Workshop. This event continues to help provide their congregation and members of the community with access to financial resources, assisting them with achieving their goals.
Our team of volunteers spent the morning providing sessions and activities designed to cover a variety of vital financial subjects tailored for the congregation in attendance. Adults had the opportunity to learn about the benefits of Auto Loan Refinancing from our NuMark experts, as well as participate in breakout sessions about credit scores, budgeting, and investing. For the youth in attendance, NuMark hosted several different youth programs for the various age groups covering topics like the difference between needs and wants, and introductions to budgeting.
The Money Summit Workshop is part of NuMark’s ongoing effort to enrich financial lives and provide resources to achieve personal finance goals. We take great pride in our work both in-branch and in the community and are always ready to provide our financial guidance.
Our staff had an incredible day working with the CPCC staff to help the members of their congregation and community, giving them financial resources to help them grow. We look forward to hosting more financial wellness seminars and workshops this year to help members of the community reach their fantastic futures faster.
