Support Wreaths Across America
NuMark Credit Union is currently collecting donations for the Wreaths Across America Project. It is our way of thanking and honoring our nation’s heroes and their families. In support of our veterans, members and non-members can visit any NuMark Credit Union location and make a donation. All monies will go towards purchasing wreaths that will be placed on grave sites at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois. Donations will be accepted through Saturday, November 25th and we are matching up to $1,500.
Wreaths Across America’s Mission: Remember Our Fallen U.S. Veterans – Honor Those Who Serve – Teach Our Children the Value of Freedom
Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, volunteers coordinate wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as more than 2,500 additional national cemeteries in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad. If you would like to take part in the wreath laying ceremony at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois on Saturday, December 16th at 11:00 AM, you can register to volunteer below. You will want to click on the “Volunteer” button on the website and search “Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery”.

Wreaths Across America™ is nonprofit 501-c3 organization that was formed as an extension of the Arlington Wreath Project. The Arlington Wreath program was started by Morrill Worcester in 1992 with the donation and laying of 5000 Christmas wreaths to Arlington National Cemetery. For over 20 years, wreaths have honored veterans in each branch of the military in over 2,100 participating locations in all 50 states and 24 national veteran cemeteries on foreign soil. Over 100,000 wreaths have been donated and more than 65,000 volunteers have participated in the project. To lay a wreath at a specific grave, fill out this Grave Specific Form.
