What are E-Statements?
E-Statements are just like the paper statements you receive in the mail. However, they are available sooner and reduce the paperwork clutter in your home. E-Statements are delivered right to your NuMark Online account - safe and secure. E-Statements are actually safer than paper statements because most cases of identity theft begin with stolen paper mail or stolen paper trash.

How do I sign up for E-Statements?
E-Statements are automatically set up for you when you sign up for NuMark Online access to your account. If you started using NuMark Online before May 2006, you may need to change your preferences to get started. Simply click on the E-Statement menu while logged into your account and choose "E-Statement Preferences". You will select E-Statements as the statement type and then enter your email address.

How do I use E-Statements?
E-Statements are retrieved through your NuMark Online account. Once you log into NuMark Online, you will go to the "E-Statement" menu and choose to either view your most recent E-Statement or view the entire list of E-Statements available to you. From the list, you will click on the statement you wish to view. Once you are viewing your E-Statement, you can also print it or save it on your computer.

Do I need special software on my computer to view my E-Statement?
Adobe Reader is required to view the "pdf" format of our E-Statements. This popular software can be downloaded free from www.adobe.com.

Do I have to use NuMark Online to view my statements online?
Yes! You must use NuMark Online to receive your statement electronically.

Will I receive notification when my statement is ready?
Yes! You will receive an email notification when your E-Statement is ready. This is sent to you shortly after the last business day of the month. This notification includes information about the inserts mailed with our paper statements as well as links to view those inserts.

How quickly after the statement period ends will I be able to view my E-Statement?
E-Statements are usually ready a day or two after the month ends. Since you do not have to wait for it to show up in your mailbox, you have your statement much quicker!

Will my electronic statements look the same as my paper statements??
Your E-Statement will look similar to printed statements, but not EXACTLY like it. It will contain all of the information you previously received in the mail.

Can I view statements from previous months?
E-Statements remain available for a minimum of six (6) months. Please note that once you start receiving your statements electronically, previous mailed paper statements will NOT be available electronically. Paper statements are generated differently than E-Statements and cannot be converted to an electronic format.

Can I print my E-Statements?
Yes! If you'd like to retain a paper copy of your statement, you can print your E-Statement just as you would print any other document.

Do I need to have an email address to receive E-Statements?
An email address is not required to receive E-Statements. If we do not have a valid email address for you, you will not receive the E-Statement Notification Email which lets you know when your statement is ready. However, you can check your NuMark Online account at the beginning of the month to see if your E-Statement is ready.

How do I change my email address on my NuMark account?
You can change your email address by going to the "E-Statement Preferences" menu. Simply enter your correct email address in the appropriate field and follow the prompts to make the change.

How will I view the inserts that are mailed with the paper statements?
Inserts sent with our paper statements are covered in the E-Statement Email Notification sent to you. In most cases, links to these inserts are included. For instance, you can click on a link to view the current newsletter.

What do I do if I find a discrepancy on my statement?
If you have a question about your statement, call or write to us as soon as you can at 815-729-3211 or PO Box 2729, Joliet, IL 60434. We must hear from you no later than 60 days after we sent the first statement on which the problem or error appears.
